A Soft Place to be Lost
우리는 종종 길을 잃는 순간을 불안하거나 잘못된 상태로 생각합니다.
하지만 이 전시는 그 순간을 다르게 바라봅니다.
이곳에서 길을 잃는다는 것은 어딘가로 잘못 들어섰다는 의미가 아니라,
새로운 감각과 마주하고 자신을 발견해가는 과정입니다.
로렌 모슬리의 상상의 세계 속에서 관람객은 잠시 길을 잃으며, 앞으로 나아갈 수 있는 모험심과 새로운 감각을 마주할 용기, 그리고 자신의 감정을 읽어내는 섬세함을 경험하게 됩니다.
밝고 다채로운 색과 자유로운 형태로 이루어진 이 공간은
아이에게는 놀이의 세계가 되고, 어른에게는 잊고 있던 감각을 다시 떠올리는 시간이 됩니다.
이 전시는 완성된 모습이 아닌, 계속해서 변화하고 만들어져 가는 ‘나’에 대한 이야기입니다.
We often think of getting lost as something uncertain or mistaken.
But this exhibition invites us to see it differently.
Here, getting lost is not about taking a wrong turn,
but about encountering new sensations and discovering oneself along the way.
Within Lauren Morsley’s imagined worlds, visitors are invited to lose their way for a moment—to find the courage to move forward, to embrace new ways of sensing,
and to gently understand their own emotions.
Composed of bold colours and fluid forms,
this space becomes a world of play for children,
and a moment of rediscovery for adults—awakening senses long forgotten.
This exhibition is not about a finished self,
but about the self that is constantly changing and BECOMING.
