YANGHEE CHANG
In this work, a figure is placed
among the grass, as if walking gently into it. The scene was painted from
imagination rather than observation, aiming for an open and airy feeling rather
than density.
My practice explores universal
human existence within nature — a timeless space where traces of time
accumulate.
Here, nature appears enlarged and
the figure seems weightless, casting no shadow, suspended between presence and
absence.
Through this composition, I seek to
express both solitude and connection, revealing the quiet distance that defines
our shared human condition.
