EUNHYE YANG
EUNHYE YANG seeks to capture the wide spectrum of emotions younger generations experience on their journey toward adulthood, expressing them in a playful and spirited way. In the coexistence of vitality and lethargy, lightness and seriousness, joy and indifference, she finds the most genuine faces of youth. The tension between an incomplete self and socially imposed roles often leads to a return to childlike sensibilities, embodied in kidult-inspired characters. These figures, though weary from competition and an uncertain future, reveal a natural YOLO attitude—“let’s do what I want right now.” YANG interprets such lethargy not as escape but as a turning point for change, portraying through her work a way of life that values individual pace, inner joy, and self-discovered meaning over external measures of success.
